6. Key Objectives: Enterprise • The congregation of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church and School (ASLC) commits to increasing the number of people it serves in mission in the surrounding 7 mile radius of the church by 2000 each year through June 2019 inclusive of all ministries.

Key Objectives: Enterprise • The ministerial staff commits to training, guiding, and equipping the congregation of ASLC to carry out the Strategic Mission Planning (SMP) Key Objectives (Ends), Goals and Strategies. The Minister of Outreach will monitor and report to the congregation the progress made in attaining the SMP at (a minimum) the quarterly congregational meetings.

10. Key Objectives: Enterprise • Communicate mission and ministry through various means and media including, but not limited to, visual, auditory, and social beginning May 2014.

Key Objectives: One Excellent Project - One Mission Outreach and One Major Program • Abiding Savior Lutheran School will be recognized as a premier school in South Orange County serving congregation members, our constituents, and friends and families of our congregation with a student population at capacity by August 2019.

14. Key Objectives: One Excellent Project - One Mission Outreach and One Major Program • Abiding Savior Lutheran Preschool will increase the enrollment in our preschool to capacity by August 2016.

16. Key Objectives: Significant Relational Groupings • 100 percent of our active members and constituents will be a part of at least one Significant Relational Grouping by June 2019.

18. Key Objectives: Shepherding Visitation • Develop and deploy a shepherding visitation strategy that ensures every member of our congregation, our constituents, and friends and families of our congregation experience generous shepherding visits according to their needs and situation.

20. Goals • Beginning in August 2014 all students in grades 6-8 will be required bring an iPads to school to be used as a tool in their education. [KO B1] • Utilizing funds from the Scrip Account by August 15, 2014 purchase 4-5 iPads for each Kindergarten and First Grade Classroom to be used in learning centers for the students. [KO B1]

22. Goals • During 2015-2016 school year an iPad mobile unit with 20-25 iPads will be purchased for use in grades 2-5 using funds from the Scrip Account at a cost of approximately $8500. [KO B1] • Through the use of Saddleback Unified Title Money professional development in the area of technology will take place on a yearly basis with two (2) different teachers each year participating in the TEC21 Workshop Program beginning in September 2014. These teachers will then share the valuable information with the rest of the staff enhancing our educational technology as a staff and school. [KO B1]

24. Goals • Implement no later than the 2015-2016 school year a Gifted Program with a part time teacher who will prepare special enrichment lessons and projects focused on writing, science, and math for students who are consistently performing above grade level as identified by their teacher(s). [KO B1] • Develop a comprehensive marketing plan that includes the preschool and day school beginning in July 2014.

26. Goals • By spring 2015 utilize funds from fundraisers to purchase iPads for each teacher in our preschool to enhance classroom learning and technology in the classroom. [KO B2] • Establish a ‘Preschool Parent Advisory Group’ by September 2014 in order to generate new ideas, suggestions for improvement, and feedback on programs and policies. [KO B2]

Goals • Abiding Savior Lutheran Church and School will develop and implement a comprehensive upgrade, improvement, and maintenance plan for the church and school campus with a priority on upgrading the Fellowship Hall/Gym by August 15, 2015. [KO A1, B1, B2] • The staff and Leadership Board will develop various means to measure the effectiveness of our communication strategies including but not limited to email campaigns, social media, bulletin announcements, verbal announcements, and the website by October 31, 2015. 30. Goals • The congregation of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church and School (ASLC) commits to increasing the number of people it serves in mission in the surrounding 7 mile radius of the church by 1800 to 3800 from July 2014 through June 2015 inclusive of all ministries. [KO A1, B1, B2]
