  2. Read and understand the questions

  3. Look at the pictures or graphics given and relate it to the answers given.

  4. Pupils have to understand the situation and dialogue before choosing the correct response that fits the situation in the picture.

  5. Look carefully for all the punctuation marks given

  6. When answering the cloze passage pupils have to look carefully at the picture given.

  7. Read the passage at least twice to get a general idea of the passage.

  8. Read all the given options A, B, C and D before choosing the best answer.

  9. Answer all the questions given.

  10. When answering a comprehension question, pupils should read the passage at least twice so that they can have a better understanding of the text.
