  2. Het Kootwijkerzand is de grootste zandverstuiving van Europa. Nergens anders vind je zo’n uitgestrekt, actief stuifzand. Het is een schraal, maar wel heel karakteristiek stuk Veluwe

  3. Her en der in de zandverstuiving staan vliegdennen. Zij kregen hun grillige vormen door de voortdurend geseling door wind en zand. Aan de sporen in het zand kun je aflezen dat hier edelherten, wilde zwijnen, reeën, vossen en dassen leven.
