  2. Sir Isaac Brock was born October 6, 1769. He died October 13, 1812. He died at the age of 43 during the battle of Queenston Heights. • Sir Isaac Brock was a British Army Officer and administrator. • He kept a reputation as an “ unusually tall, robust” man throughout his life. • His height was 6ft. 2in. Though noted as a handsome man who enjoyed women but never got married.

  3. He was promoted to Major General and became responsible for defending upper Canada against the United States during the war of 1812. • After Sir Isaac Brock captured Fort Detroit, it earned him a Knighthood, membership in the most honorable, Military, Order and the nickname “ The Hero of Upper Canada.”

  4. Sir Isaac Brock was best remembered as a brave soldier, brilliant leader and strategist for his actions. • Brock believed that an attack was the best of defense and commanded by the philosophy of never ordering men where he would not lead them as he personally led the charge on foot.

  5. Sir Isaac Brock’s last words were reported as “ Push on, brave York Volunteers!!” • Brock was struck in the wrist of his sword arm by a musket ball, but continued to press home the attack.

  6. His bright red coat and gold epaulettes and his tall figure and energetic gestures made him a conspicuous target. • Brock was struck in the chest, and died almost instantly. Dun…. Dun…….. DUN!!!!!!!
