Theme & Topics ICT for Education: Reaching out, building bridges The iEARN 2013 conference will address the use of ICT for education to reach out, learn and build a better worldtogether. It will cover topics such as environment, cultural diversity, and the use of ICTs to achieve these goals. In addition to the iEARN community members, the conference is also open to non-iEARNeducators. We are aiming at making the conference a great learning experience that will offer opportunities to: • Discover or learn more about iEARN • Develop professionally • Share experiences • Discover innovative ways to use ICTs for education • Connect with peers from around the world • Experience the Qatari and Arabic culture.

Cost To give the opportunity to a greater number of educators and learners to attend the conference, ROTA will cover all other conference related costs through sponsors and fundraising. Participants will only have to pay for their travel and accommodation costs. ROTA is also seeking additional funding to provide scholarships for attendees who present and/ or deliver workshops.
