  2. Our Focus • Essential Question: • How can I strategically answer constructed response questions? • I CAN… • Identify performance verbs in a question statement. • Distinguish the different parts of a question statement. • Apply URTOPS strategy to construct answers.

  3. URTOPS Guided Notes Fill this out as we go through the lessons. We’ll be adding to it each week.

  4. Underline • Read & Re-Read • Topic Sentence • Organize • Parts • Support Write URTOPS on your test booklet as a reminder. Cross off as you work through each letter. Sketch out your answer in the TEST BOOKLET (trust me, you’ll have room) Transfer your answer to your ANSWER DOCUMENT (trust me, you should have plenty of time.)
