TIMBERVIEW FOOTBALL • There are approximately 13,000 opportunities a year to play college football at the DI, DIAA, DII, JC, and DIII levels. • Across the nation 1,109,511 high school students play football. Texas has 165,359 student athletes playing football at 1,061 high schools. • There are approximately 255,000 seniors playing football across the country and over 20,000 in the state of Texas alone. • Only 5% of high school seniors will play college football.

  5. TIMBERVIEW FOOTBALL • Texas will sign approximately 350 DI football players and approximately 800 non division I recruits. (total of around or near 1,100-1,200 per year average) • Percentage of college football players signing from Texas at all levels is about 6%. Less than 2% at the DI level. • We are signing 9 today, and have the opportunity to sign a total of 11 young men this year.
