Blandford Elementary PTO “Making children our priority.” September 2011 Dates to Remember September 2 Popcorn Friday September 12 PTO Meeting September 15 Spaghetti Supper October 14 Fall Festival 2011-2012 Officers President: Julie Dickey Vice-President: Cristina Larson Secretary: Angela Jackson Treasurer: Jodi McIntosh What does PTO do for our school? The PTO is an organization of parents and teachers of Blandford Elementary. We promote a school community where teachers and administrators do their best with resources provided to make school fun and educational. Through membership dues and fundraising efforts, the PTO is able to donate funds to purchase educational materials and equipment for the school, as well as being involved in efforts to help the local community. Every single dollar is appreciated. Please support our fundraisers. Fall Festival Save the date! Our Fall Festival is scheduled for Friday, October 14th after school. There will be blow-ups, a hay ride, face painting, silent auction and many more fun activities. Don’t Throw It Away, We’re collecting it… Don’t forget to save your Box Tops, Campbell’s Soup Labels, and Coke points. Recycling all of these will benefit our school! Contact us at…. blandfordpto@gmail.com Join our Facebook page (Blandford Elementary PTO) for updates throughout the year. We Need You! Your ideas and talents are truly needed. We have many ways in which the whole family can contribute. Please consider volunteering for one of our committees. It really does make a difference in the lives of our children! Membership is $5 per person or $9 per family and everyone is welcome! If you have not joined, please ask your child’s teacher for a PTO membership form or email us at the address below. Spaghetti Dinner September 15th Want a night off from dinner duty and help support school programs too? Please join us September 15th from 6-8 in the Blue Jay cafeteria.
