SustainableSolid Waste Management Financing Program The SWM Financing Program is designed primarily to assist the local government units (LGUs) and private enterprises in the development and implementation of their respective solid waste management programs and projects. www.dbp.ph
Program Objectives • To help the LGUs comply with the targets embodied in RA 9003. • To support the Government’s drive of ensuring the protection of the environment and public health.

ENVIRONMENTAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT Amount and Funding Source The Environmental Development Project (EDP) is a Y 24.846 billion (about PhP 10 billion) policy-based lending facility from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) intended mainly to support viable and environmentally-sound investment projects. www.dbp.ph
