CLUBS • When he was 7 he moved to Montevideo, where his football career began. • He played for National from (2005-2006) • Groningen from (2006-2007) • Ajax from (2007-2011) • He scored 111 goals in 159 appearances, a record that caught attention of many European heavyweights. • Liverpool present.

  4. Trouble he's got into • In a 2010 world cup match against Ghana he blocked a sure goal with his hands. He was sent off but his team went on and won the match. • He bit a player when he was with Ajax during a game. • He was racist and rude to Patrice Evera during the Liverpool v Manchester united game. • Then the next time Evera and Suarez met Suarez didn't shake hands with him at the start of the game. • Then the Fulham fans booed him and he stuck up the middle finger to them. • Then a game between Liverpool and Chelsea Luis Suarez bit Branaslav Ivanivic.

The best tournament Suarez has played in with Uraguay is the Copa America in 2011, Suarez was in scintillating form as he helped his country win the tournament. He finished second top goal scorer with 4 goals including 2 in the semi-final against Peru and 1 in the final against Paraguay. He was also named player of the tournament.
