R O T A ‘ s • Have you registered with RCGP? • Everyone who has registered, three year training is now on E-portfolio along with Educational Supervisor information. • Posts CANNOT be changed unless there are exceptional circumstances! • Transfers to another Deanery/Area. Panel meets twice yearly.

  4. Forms • Form R – to be completed every year • R7 Form – complete and submit to Area Office at least one month before start of gp training. No R7, No Pay. • Performers List – contact Shared Services 0845 1111200 option 2 • Leave – for any type of leave complete form and return to Area Office or email. • Study Leave – complete form after approval by Programme Director and return to Area Office • £250 pa for 12 months gp - £125 pa for 6 months gp • Change of circumstances – email Area Office

A R C P • Annual Review – • Deadline for minimum evidence 17 May 2010 • Panel meet on 17 June 2010 • Interviews on 24 June 2010 • Contact Educational Supervisor to book 6 month and 12 month review well in advance • Complete ARCP information form – need to be in Area Office on 17 May 2010 (available from e-portfolio)

Key messages • When in general practice, policies e.g. annual leave, compassionate leave, disciplinary procedure are the same for ALL staff • Make sure you sign a contract with the practice • Agree your working hours day one • All forms completed in advance • Register with RCGP for E-portfolio and keep up to date throughout
