  3. 19 September 2010Bless Our Schools Sunday • Moms In Touch International is a prayer ministry that brings moms together to pray for children and schools in 120 countries. (www.MomsinTouch.org) • For the Students: Pray that Christian students will stand firm in their faith, showing God’s love on campus and leading others to Christ. • For the Staff: Pray for unity and high moral standards among the teachers, administrators, school board and support staff. • For Safety: Pray that God’s hand of protection will be upon the students, school and staff.

  4. Primetime Calendar26 September (Next Sunday) • Primetime Quarterly Brunch • Wonderful opportunity for fellowship, prayer and great food. • 1045 – 1155 hrs. • Sign up sheets are on the tables.

MBC Membership Orientation Meeting • When: Sunday, September 26, 2-4 pm • Where: The Smith Center on 1st Floor. • Why: To learn how to become a member of MBC. • Great opportunity to gain Pastor Lon Solomon’s perspective of what we believe and stand for at MBC. • A prerequisite for membership, but also a non-binding opportunity • Learn about all that goes on here.

Congregational Meeting • When: Monday, September 27 at 7:30 pm • Where: The Smith Center on 1st Floor. • Why: Members/non-members are invited • To receive an update on MBC church business, to include Jill’s House • To vote on critical church issues (members) • Let’s give thanks to our the Elders, Executive Leadership Team and MBC Staff as they are diligently reviewing the budgetary & management challenges in preparation for this meeting.

  7. Prayer/Praise Request • Circulating a card for Jim Fondren – who is incarcerated in Allentown, PA. • Want to keep him in our prayers and to offer encouragement. • Please submit your personal prayer request(s) for God’s intervention to address your burdens or concerns, as well as any praises to Him. • Prayer cards are on your tables.

Military Ministry Forum at MBC • Theme: Honoring our Military Families • Smith Center: 23 Oct, Saturday AM (8:30 am – 12:00 pm) • Program: • MC: Pastor Joe Henriques • Keynote Speaker: Major General (USA Retired) Bob Dees, Executive Director, Military Ministry, Campus Crusade for Christ International – on “Healing for our Military Families” and “Healing for our Military Members” • Chaplain (Colonel, USA) Mike Hoyt – on “Merging the cultures of the Civilian church reaching out to the Military mindset” • MSG Antonio Giuliano – Army’s Ambassador of Music (Vocalist) • Everyone is invited • Registration: Ticket Central / On-line - $10 per family • Refreshments to be provided • Any remaining funds will go to Jill’s House
