Customs • Participated in the EDIFACT technical assessment • Processed DMRs for GOVCBR; updated GOVCBR expected in D11B • Participated in the project Single Window interoperability • Updated the group on the initiative on Globally Networked Customs • Updated the PDA on developments on IMO FAL Committee: • The finalization of the FAL compendium, • Treatment of stowaways, privately Contracted Armed Security Personnel, • Finalization of the Maritime Single Window Guidelines, • Development of guidelines for electronic access to certificates on board vessels. • Participated in the UNECE information session on a standard for the electronic CIM/SMGS Consignment Note for Railways • Updates on development of a standard on advance cargo reporting • Development of a new electronic message not necessary • WCO will convey the difficulties faced by carriers • Support for common data requirements and procedures for advance cargo reporting by countries • Held discussions with UNCTAD on areas of mutual interest in Trade Facilitation

  7. Transport Status of and further actions for the projects in the Transport Domain (status report, transport instruction, waybill, dangerous goods). Action plan to progress the “Cargo Tracing and Tracking” project The Multi Modal Transport structure as a subset of the Core Components for use in the Transport and Logistics domain Assessment of DMR’s from the transport domain Harmonization work between TDED and EDED Directories for transport items Maintenance of the EDIFACT Directories and UN/Recommendations Report on cooperation with developments in the Transport domain (IATA, UIC, FIATA, IMO, SMDG, PROTECT, etc.) Joint meeting with Customs / WCO on the action plan regarding the Advance Cargo Declaration harmonization issue; Other items: IMO FAL Forms… Report on cooperation with ISO committees relevant for the Transport domain, namely ISO TC204 ( ITS - Intelligent Transport Systems) and ISO TC8 (Maritime) Confirmation of the Transport interim meeting in Valencia on 14‐18 November September 20th : Meeting with International Transport Organizations at IATA to assess impact of the CEFACT reorganization on the Transport/Logistics sector September 21th: Meeting with UNECE Trade-Transport Division and UIC to discuss regulatory aspects and data harmonization of the Rail Consignment Note (CIM) with the CEFACT standards.

Domain Travel/Tourism Achieved this week: 1)BRS preparation for Small scaled Lodging House Reservation Information Process was progressed. 2) Attended the CCL property terms review held and guided by CCL 3.0 development/maintenance team 3) Discussion on the new project proposed by a Thailand expert was held and will be further studied among the experts.

  30. Work plan 1) Small scaled Lodging House Reservation Information Process will be finalized (by March 2012) 2) New project proposals will be discussed among the experts. And they will be proposed to be in time for the next forum when they are agreed upon by them. 3) Collaboration with such organizations as OTA, AFACT, other international or national bodies will be well checked and negotiated, if needed, by the experts of the group. 4) Capacity building activity will be considered especially for Asian countries.
