The introduction in the Russian Federation of the European digital radio system DRM (Russian Federation Government Decree No. 445-r dated March 28, 2010) -to consider the appropriate introduction in the Russian Federation of the European digital radio system DRM; -to organize in 2010-2011 development of national standard system for digital broadcasting; ; -ensure the introduction in the prescribed manner of national standards system for digital broadcasting.

  3. The federal programme "development of broadcasting in the Russian Federation for 2009-2015 years 19 “Development of terrestrial broadcasting” Coverage of 100% of the population of the RUSSIAN FEDERATION with public radio of high and in case of EMERGENCY alerts, digital broadcasting for in foreign countries with high quality of reception. Digital national broadcasting • 30 digital transmitters for SW broadcasting of “Radio Russia"; • 79 digital transmitters for MW broadcasting of “Radio Russia"; • 17 digital transmitters for LW broadcasting of “Radio Russia“. Digital international broadcasting • 82 digital transmitters for SW and MW broadcasting of “Voice of Russia" • 12 rotatable antennas on network of international broadcasting.

  4. Experimental pilot zones of digital audio broadcasting in DRM standard In accordance with the decisions of the SRFC (state radio frequency commission in Russia there were created by experimental pilot zones of digital audio broadcasting in DRM standard at radiobroadcast centers of "RTRN" located on the following Territories: Moscow Region, Samara, Angarsk (Irkutsk region), Komsomolsk-on-Amur (Khabarovsk region) and Novosibirsk region. .

Experimental pilot zones of digital audio broadcasting in DRM standard The results of the pilot DRM broadcasting in the frequency bands 526.5 -1606.6 kHz and in selected bands 3.95-26.1 MHz were approved and it was decided to allocate radio frequency band 148.5-283.5 kHz, 526,5-1606.6 kHz, 3.95-4.0 MHz, 5.9-6.2 MHz, 7.1 -7.45 MHz, 9.4-9.9 MHz, 11.6 -12.1 MHz, 13.57-13.87 MHz, 15.1 -15.8 MHz, 17.78-17.9 MHz, 18.9 -19.02 MHz, 21.45-21.85 MHz, 25.67 -26.1 MHz for digital audio DRM broadcasting on a permanent basis within the previously allocated radio frequency bands for radio services in the territory of the Russian Federation
