Laws Related to Alcohol & Drugs • You must be 21 years old to enter a bar or club or to purchase or consume alcohol • Providing alcohol to a “minor” is a crime • Using a false ID card is a crime • Using illegal drugs is a serious offense “Isn’t being 21 or older GREAT?”
Crime & Punishment • Felony: a crime punishable by imprisonment • Sexual assault, theft of property ($500 or more), reckless endangerment • Misdemeanor: all other crimes • Disorderly conduct, indecent exposure, petty theft • Failing to report a crime is a crime in WI • Your immigration status may be jeopardized by committing any type of crime
