Expressive Unit/Art Studies/Homework tasks To prepare for the written Prelim in January and the written exam in May complete the following tasks. If you have been completing written questions on Portraiture then go to slide 2, if you have been completing written questions on Still-Life go to slide 3. Print out or write out responses and hand in to your teacher on the first Art and Design Expressive Unit/Art Studies/Portrait Copies of all homework tasks set by Mr. Hogarth are included here and will be updated as more are set.

Write Title and any other information about Portrait. • Copy and Paste portrait into a document and print it out. Or, complete task by hand and make a small sketch of portrait. • Write 10 points about the specific portrait using the help sheets form your yellow folder. • You must write about – • The subject in the portrait. • How the Artist uses the visual elements to tell the viewer about the subject. • How the Visual Elements have been used to make a successful portrait.
