Summary • When students from Zachary O’Mally-Bush Interdisciplinary Edification (Z.O.M.B.I.E) University are served re-called meat in the school cafeteria, strange things begin to happen. When one student brings his lunch of contaminated meat to class, he is turned into a zombie and begins to attack the teacher. This is when we are introduced to the heroes/heroines of the game (depending on number of characters you decided to play with) who are all students in the class. They help the teacher and find out the school is overrun with many of these sick, zombie like students. Their quest is not only to escape from the school alive, but to help other students and faculty that have yet to be contaminated. Along the way, they uncover the truth behind the meat mishap.

Mechanics • Gain experience as you progress through the game to level up character. • This is the basic system for RPGs. When a character defeat an enemy, they will gain some experience points (XP). • When the XP reaches a progressive threshold, the character will “Level up”. • Each level the player attains will increases the character’s abilities (ie strength, defense, etc) and will also receive a skill point to spend towards the character’s skill tree. • Each level up will aid the character in fighting stronger enemies (who have a set level).
Mechanics 2. Skill tree for characters to acquire and build special skills • Each character will have their own skill tree. • Each time a character level up, he will get one point for his skill • There are different levels of skills, and as such, to acquire higher levels of skills, lower levels must be purchased first.
Mechanics 3. One way economy - Each time a character defeats an enemy, the enemy will drop a random amount of money, with the upper range increasing as the enemy level increases. -Character can use the money to buy food (to increase health, or temporarily increase other abilities) and supplies from various vending machines around the environment.

Why we want to make this game -Why is it innovative? It is introducing the RPG genre to survival horror gaming. -Why is it interesting for target audience? It allows the audience to experience a zombie survival horror game in an environment they are familiar with.(school)
