Average starting salary for BS in CompE: $77k Average starting salary for BS in EE: $71k All average starting salaries exceed national averages supplied by National Association of Colleges and Employers In a 2010 article by The Wall Street Journal, recruiters said the University of Illinois was among the three best universities for recruiting students.
