  2. S4 Assembly S4 Easter Assembly today.

  3. NEW YORK 2015 If you want to go to New York in Feb 2015 , please return your form to Miss Edmond in 306 (or give to your Maths teacher) to secure a place on the trip. If you missed the meeting and wish to go pick up a form from the Maths Dept.

  4. Commonwealth Games Can all Baton Bearers report to the Atrium at the end of break today.

  5. S4 Duke of Edinburgh Group S4 Students signed up for expedition on weekend of 14 & 15 June must attend a training & route-card session on Thursday 3 April after school in room 308 (Miss McDonald’s room). Will last approx 2 hours. It’s important that you’re there in your groups at the same time to organise your qualifyingexpedition – if you can’t attend see Miss McDonald or Mr Boyle in advance

Young Musicians Competition and Concert Thursday 3 April 2014 – Rehearsals Period 1 : Show Band and Singers Period 2 : Singers and Senior Ceilidh Band Period 3 : Percussion Group/Guitar Group/ Junior Fiddles Period 4 : Young Musician Finalists Period 5 : Concert Band and Orchestra Period 6 : Jazz Band Period 7 : All – Opening and Finale

  7. Paris Trip 1-Suspended Timetable June 2014 There is one space now available on this trip please see Miss Fairley in room 204 for more information.

  8. Battlefields Trip: M&S Hamper Raffle Deadline date for Raffle tickets is Tuesday 22 April. Draw on Wed 23 April. If you require more tickets see Miss Malcolm in Room 118 Mmm... Miss Malcolm’s hamper looks good..beats this stuff anyday

  9. Valkenburg Trip June 2014 One space has become available on the Concert Band trip to Valkenburg in Holland. You do not have to be part of the concert band but musicians or students with an appreciation for music would be most welcome. Any students interested in joining this trip should see Miss Ryder at break or lunchtime in 012.

  10. Lasswade Hockey Team The hockey team performed fantastically well at the Midlothian Hockey Tournament coming joint 1st along with Penicuik missing out on the shield by only one goal. Can all players please return their strips to Mr Clelland ASAP.

  11. Young Musician Competition and Concert Tickets for the Young Musician Competition and Concert are on sale in Room 004 at break and lunchtime.

  12. Race for Life 2014 If you were unable to attend the meeting on Monday 31 March, please collect a form from Miss Lyon (208). Money and form need to be returned to Miss Lyon by Wednesday 23 April at the very latest.

  13. Annual S6 vs Staff Football Game The annual 6th Year vs Staff football game will be held at 4.00 pm on Thursday 3 April. Donation of £1 on entry is desired and all profits are going to Sports Relief.

  16. S1 Play When: Friday 4 April, 9.20 am-10.20 am Where: Assembly Hall Your Period 1 teacher will bring you to the Assembly Hall for a performance that will begin at 9.20 am.

  17. S2 Play When: Friday 4 April, 10.40-11.40am Where: Assembly Hall Go to your period 3 class to be registered, your teacher will bring you down after this.
