  3. The Assumption Cathedral with frescoes by Andrew Rublev (1158-1160).In 1195 in order to commemorate the millennium of our city, a new monument to Andrew Rublev was put not far from The Cathedral of the Assumption.

  4. The Golden Gate is a piece of ancient defence architecture. It was the place through which Vladimir Princes entered and left the town. Here the townspeople met Alexander Nevsky and his men and the Moscow Prince Dmitry Donskoi. Dmitry Pozharsky and Alexander Suvorov passed through the gate. Besides the Golden Gate there were four more gates in the towns wall. From them roads lead to all parts of Russia.
