(A Bench for Caps) It was 8th graders’ 2010 award winning solution to community problem of “saving our lands and waters by working together” It is A partnership based upon promises It requires Students, parents, teachers & community groups It was Designed by children to empower children It fits Any community Any group Any age of children It works As of July 2013… 8 million capsweighing over198,000 poundsare now in benches inover 300 communities
