Lost People are Alienated From God “Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.” Ephesians 4:18 Lost People Practice Wickedness and Imagine only Evil “The Lord saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the—thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time” (Genesis 6:5).

Lost People Are Totally Depraved Your whole head is injured, your whole heart afflicted. From the sole of your foot to the top of your head there is no soundness. Isaiah 1:5–6 All of us. have become like one who is unclean and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6a I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful flesh. Romans 7:18a The fleshly man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. 1 Corinthians 2:14

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.Rom. 8:8,9 There is no one who does good, not even one. Eph. 2:3

Lost People are “Dead in Sin” And you [hath he quickened], who were dead in trespasses and sins; (Ephesians 2:1) Lost People Follow the Ways of Satan Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience:(Ephesians 2:2)

Lost People Are Seen As Rubbish Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? (2 Corinthians 13:5) Lost People Are Separated From Christ …remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. Ephesians 2:12,13

God’s Conclusion Concerning the Lost What shall we conclude then? . . . Jews and Gentiles alike are all under sin. As it is written: “There is none righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands no who seeks God All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is none who does good, not even one.” “Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit” “The poison of vipers is on their lips” “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.” “Their feet are swift to shed blood ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not known.” “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Romans 3:9–18

The Future Of The Lost He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power 10 on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed II Thess. 1:8-10

Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne…The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books…If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Rev. 20:12-15

We Owe Lost People The Gospel I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. 15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
