AB 118 Program - AFRVT • Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technology Program • Run by California Energy Commission • Approximately $12 million per year for NGV buy-down incentives and infrastructure support • Last offering was $3,000-$30,000/vehicle • CEC reviewing funding distribution process • Next solicitation probably late summer/early fall
Clean Car “White Sticker” Program • High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane access for qualifying single occupant vehicles • Vehicles must meet both CA SULEV and federal ILEV emission standards • No weight class restriction • Program extended through 2014 • Senate Bill 286 – would extend this program through 2017
Federal Incentives • Alternative Fuel excise tax credit for alternative fuels - $.50/gallon through 12/31/2013 • Up to 30% tax credit for refueling infrastructure
