IRO Spheres The office is the central coordinator of international staff and student exchange. Information about studies abroad and services to students, researchers and staff. LEONARDO da VINCI LEONARDO DA VINCI I In 1996-1998 TTU participated in 7 Leonardo projects as silentpartner. Projects launched by partner universities in 1999. TTU as equal partner with EU universities. Total 16 projects, 8 approved ln 1999 launced 1 project, TTU in contractor role. Project No S/01/B/F/PP-127030 • Is a pilot project that aims to develop a common European tool for supervision of project work and work placements, conducted at companies abroad. The tool will • Guarantee academic quality. • Rationalise supervision. • Facilitate contacts between supervisors and students. • Partners:Universities from Sweden,Ireland,France,Estonia(TTU),Italy • Firms:EESTI ENERGIA and SCANIA • Prior to creating a model for the instrument, analyses and synthesise of the situation today will be made in order to establish a frame of reference for the work ahead. Exchange program of students and professors supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers. • The time spent in partner university will be 1 semester. • NORDPLUS scholarship covers the accommodation and travelling costs. • Unfortunately there is no financial support from the Nordic Council of Ministers for Tallinn Technical University for academic year 2002/2003.
