Information technology “networked readiness index” America has returned to the top of the World Economic Forum's fifth annual “networked readiness index”, which measures countries' ability to benefit from computing and communications. The rankings assess a country's economy, regulatory conditions and infrastructure, as well as its adoption and usage of technology. Japan, India and China all slipped down the table.
