  1. Student does not have a UAL Tier 4 visa or an alternative visa that covers the entire year Student signs an Immigration Status Agreement under one of the following categories 1. No originals because application is with UKBA 2. Tier 4 visa for a different institution pre-5th October 2009 Proof of application needed at enrolment Proof of PTS form submission needed at enrolment Agreement expiry date set as 8 weeks into term (FE: 31st October 2011; most HE: 21st November 2011) Student fails to attend or rearrange appointment; no contact Student attends appointment and provides proof of appropriate immigration status Student attends appointment but has not yet received outcome of application Student is suspended from study and cannot attend classes until resolved ISA removed from student’s record Next contact point set as four weeks following this date Student provides proof of appropriate immigration status If at any point a student’s visa application is refused, you should follow the procedure at the end of the ISA guidance.

Different visa not covering first year Agreement expiry date set as visa expiry date Student has not applied and is now out of time Student provides proof they have submitted appropriate visa application Student cannot provide proof of postage Student must see a student adviser before submitting application Next contact point set as eight weeks following this date. Next contact point set as four weeks following this date, when the student must bring in the acknowledgement letter from the UKBA Application granted? ISA removed from student’s record. If at any point a student’s visa application is refused, you should follow the procedure at the end of the ISA guidance.
