  3. Global Warming- the increase of the earth’s temperature • Cause: greenhouse gas effect (the atmosphere’s ability to trap heat from the sun) What Is It?

  4. Green- house Gas • The more greenhouse gases released into the air, the warmer the earth gets. • Burning fossil fuels like petroleum, coal, oil, and kerosene release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. • Cutting down trees release carbon dioxide.

  5. There will be more natural disasters. • The earth will become engulfed in water. • More animals will become endangered and extinct. • Earth will loose some of its natural resources. Effects

  6. Reduce, reuse and recycle • Turn off all the lights when you are done using them. • Walk, ride a bike or carpool whenever you can. • Start a community garden. • Help get others on the wagon. What you can do
