  3. Flywheel Selection Flywheel Selection Option 1: Commercial Flywheel - • Lighter than stock flywheels available (saves manufacturing and design time) • Lighter (~8lb) & Lower moment of inertia • Starter teeth can be machined off • Expensive (~$400)

  4. Flywheel Selection Flywheel Selection Option 2: Custom Flywheel - • No starter teeth • Possibly cheaper than commercially available parts • Possibly lighter than commercially available parts • * Need to measure stock flywheel – design custom flywheel to determine feasibility
