  2. Objective • To enhance maintenance techniques ,solve the Corrosion and Abrasion of Piping and Dust Collector System • Applying identifies product solutions and techniques learn in Loctite Duct Coating technology

  3. Cause Of Problems • Corrosion • Pitting Corrosion • Corrosive by which cavities or "holes" are produced in the material

  4. Cause Of Problems [Cont.] • Corrosion • Erosion Corrosion • An acceleration in the rate of corrosion attack in metal • The relative motion of a corrosive fluid and a metal surface

  6. Solution to Improve • Surface preparation • Blasting SA 2.5-3 • Reinforcement by welding wire mesh on surface if require. • Using composite product to rebuild the surface and coating to prevent the corrosion and abrasion

  7. Surface Preparation • Surface preparation by Blasting SA 2.5 (Best Practice) • To surface cleanliness. • To surface roughness at least 75 micron. • To make sure , the composite to stay fixed in place onto the substrate in order to perform at its design specification.

Benefit of our solutions • Coating is wide range application in any rotating machine I.e. screw conveyor, blower etc. • Improve reliability and service life for existing machine and can apply to new equipment also. • Minimize repairing time. • Reasonable cost and lower cost when comparing to upgrade equipment material. • Smooth surface so easy to clean, inspect and repair. • Many application for chemical resistance and abrasion. • Able to service in high pressure and high temperature condition.
