Longmire 138 kV Substation Reconfiguration Scenario: • The single contingency loss of 138 kV Line 596 (Longmire to Panorama) causes depressed voltage levels in the extreme Western Region. • The single contingency loss of 138 kV Line 94 (Grimes to Sota) or 138 kV Line 596 (Lewis Creek to Egypt) causes thermal overloads on 138 kV Line 96 (Longmire to Tubular). Recommended Solution: • Reconfigure Longmire 138 kV Substation to a 4 terminal station. Tap 138 kV Line 569 (Lewis Creek to Alden) and reroute into Longmire 138 kV Substation. Estimated Cost: $5 MM
