  4. Personal Goal • Provide data needed to discuss: • Technique • “Whatever gets the job done!” • Technique needs to be addressed at elementary level • Accuracy • May type fast but is it accurate • Increase in both • Speed • Accuracy

  7. Research Avenues“To Cover” or “Not to Cover” • Need to be exposed to correct keyboarding techniques at an early age. • Older students less eager to learn correct approach “Hunt and Peck” • Keyboarding for 20 minutes a day, 4 days a week for 4 to 6 weeks is “most effective”.
