Main changes Consumption rates were 40 lpm now 50 lpm 25% more cylinder capacity reqd Daily/weekly set checks need not be recorded in logbook A record is reqd but station 'diary' suffices Re-entry of 750l/15min But calculated by cylinder content
Main Changes cont • Entry control points alphabetical – alpha, bravo etc • Teams therefore Alpha-One etc • BA sector replaces Main Control • BA stage 1 ltd to 2 teams & no guidelines • More than 1 ECP – Stage II • At least Supervisory Manager
Main Changes cont • Immediate life-risk deployment • Max 1 team, 3 wearers • Life at risk, not just escalation • Await whether in the guidance! • LPWD will require resetting, nominally 70bar • Telemetry is included with a full section
