A.평서문과 의문문(일반, 선택, 수사, ) 부가, 간접 ※She is a teen-ager. (의) (부) (부정의문) ※He can speak French. (의) (부) (부정의문) 1)be 동사:am,is -(was),are -(were),조동사: can,may.. Is she a teen-ager? => Yes, she is. No, she isn’t. She is not a teen-ager. Isn’t she a teen-ager? => Yes, she is(a teen-ager). (아니오) No, she isn’t. (예) Can he speak French?=> Yes,he can.No, he can’t. He can not(=can’t) speak French. Can’t he speak French? => Yes, he can(speak French). (아니오) No, he can’t. (예)
2) 일반동사=>평서문, 부정문&의문문( Do,Does,Did~? ) ※You have some money. (일반동사) (의) (부) (부정의문) ※He studies English in the room.(3인칭 단수 현재형) (의) (부) ※Shewantedto see him. (과거형) (의) (부) Do you have any money?=> Yes, I do. No, I don’t. You do not(=don’t)have any money. Don’t you have any money? => Yes, I do. (아니오)No, I don’t. (예) Does he study English in the room? => Yes, he does. No, he doesn’t. He does not(=doesn’t)study English in the room. Did she want to see him? => Yes, she did. No, she didn’t. She did not(=didn’t)want to see him.
3)의문사 (who, what, which, when, where, how, why….) 있는 의문문 ※He is reading English book now. => => Is he reading English book now? (의문사:what) What is he reading now? ※He is talking to Mary. => => (비교) Is he talking to Mary? Who(m) is he talking to? Who is talking to Mary? (who :의문사+주어) ※She went to the station to meet them yesterday. => => (심화 학습): Did she go to the stationto meet themyesterday? Why did she go to the station yesterday? 1.Who ~ ? 2.Where ~ ? 3. When ~ ?
4) 선택 의문문 • Is your father a doctoror a teacher? • => • Which do you like better, coffeeor tea? • => He is a doctor. I like coffee better ( than tea ). 5) 수사 의문문: 상대방 대답을 기대하지 않고 자신 의 생각을 반어적으로 표현 a) Who know?(=Nobody knows.) b) Who can do it?(=Nobody can do it.) c) How can I jump so high?(=I can’t jump so high.) d) Isn’t it strange?(=It is very strange.) e) Who doesn’t desire happiness?(=Everyone desire~) f)What is the use of reading such a book? (~ 하는 게 (=It is no use reading such a book.)무슨 소용 인가)
◈6.부가 의문문 ◈ ( 문장 뒤에 덧붙여진 의문문 ) a)앞이 긍정문일 때 • You are a student, ___________ • He(Tom) can drive a car, _________ • They study English, ___________ • Tom and Marywent there, ___________ • Thatis new, _______ aren’t you ? can’t he ? don’t they ? didn’t they ? isn’t it ?
b) 앞이 부정문일 때 • He can’t drive a car, _________ • They don’t study English, _________ • Tom and Marydidn’t go there, _________ • Thereisno snow in summer,__________ can he ? do they ? did they ? is there ? c) 기타 부가의문문 (1)명령문 의 부가의문문 • Study English hard,_________ will you ? • ( Don’t be late, ________ ) will you ? ◈7. 간접 의문문 ( 의문사절 ) ◈ 직접의문문이 다른 문장에서 S,O,C로 쓰인 의문문 A)의문사 있는 의문문 ※어순: 의문사+주어+동사 • ( I don’t know.) + ( Who is he? ) • => • ( Do you know~?) + ( Who broke the window? ) • => • ( I don’t know.) + ( Who(Whom) did you meet? ) • => • ( I wonder ~.) + ( Whose house is that? ) • => • ( Tell me.) + ( When will he come? ) • => I don’t know who he is. Do you know who broke the window? I don’t know whom you met. I wonder whose house that is. Tell mewhen he will come. (비교): Tell me when he comes. (시간 부사절)
B)의문사 없는 의문문※어순:if,whether+주어+동사 • ( I doubt~.) + ( Will it be fine tomorrow? ) • => • ( Do you know~?) + ( Does she like cats? ) • => I doubt if(whether) it will be fine tomorrow. Do you know if she likes cats ? C) • ( Do you think~?) + ( Who is he? ) • => • => Do youthinkwho he is ? ( ) X Whodo you thinkhe is ? ( O ) ※ <주절의 동사가 think, believe, guess, suppose imagine일 때 의문사를 文頭(문두)로 보냄> ex) ( Do you imagine ~?) + (Where does she live?) => Do you imaginewhere she lives ?( ) X => Wheredo you imagineshe lives ? B.명 령 문 • 1. 직접 명령문 • (You must study English hard.) • (명령):Study English hard. • (부정명령):Don’t study English hard. • (You must be kind to others.) • (명령):Be kind to others. • (부정명령):Don’t be kind to others . • (명령):Say such a thing. • (부정명령):Never say such a thing • 2. 간접 명령문 • Let him do it at once. • Don’t let him go there. • Let us go there. (허가) ※Let’s go there. (권유,제안)
C. 감탄문 , 기원문 1. 감탄문 : What + a + 형 + 명+ S + V ! How + 형,부 + S + V ! • This is a very pretty doll. • => • He swims very fast. • => • That is a very tall building. • =>What • =>How What a pretty doll this is ! How fast he swims ! a tall building that is ! tall that building ! 2. 기원문 Long live the king ! May you succeed ! God bless you ! May she return safe!
