  2. December 7th • Dear Mom and Dad, • How is everything in Helsinki? I’m doing great. My host family here in Seoul is really good to me. Last week, I visited a hanok village with my Korean friend, Jinu. 안부를 표현하는 말 (잘 지내고 있어요.) 편지 서문에 쓰는 말: ~에게, ~께 안부를 묻는 말(잘 지내세요?, 어떠세요?) Finland의 수도 My hostfamily를 뒤의 here in Seoul이 꾸며주고 있다. be good to: ~에게 좋다 동격관계

  3. When we arrived at the village, I said, “Wow! Did we take a time machine?” Jinu said, “Yeah, we’re in ancient Korea now.” The village was amazing. Every house looked similar, but each one was different. 시간, 때를 나타내는 접속사(~할 때) v. ~을 타다 a.고대의, 옛날의( modern) 모든, 매 (단수명사와 함께 씀) 감각동사+형용사 각각의 (단수명사와 함께 씀) = house

  4. When I entered the room, I shouted, “My feet are on fire!” At first, I had to step out of the room. But soon I got used to the hot floor and sat on it. I said to Jinu, “It would also be nice in Finland. We have long and cold winter months.” 시간, 때를 나타내는 접속사(~할 때) 불타는듯한 처음에는 ~해야 했다 ~에서 뛰어 나가다 get used to: ~에익숙해지다 = the hot floor ~일것 같다 (불확실한 의견을 제시할 때)

  5. Another interesting thing was the windows. There were no glass windows! I asked, “Why are the windows made of paper?” Jinu answered, “The windows are made of a special paper, Hanji. So, light and air pass through them easily.” 또 하나의 (+단수명사) There were+복수명사 ~: ~들이 있었다. be made of: ~로만들어지다 그래서 ~을 관통하다 = the windows 동격관계

I want to show them to my friends in Korea. ~에게안부인사를 전하다 ad. 어쨋든 4형식 문장: 동사+간접목적어+직접목적어 전치사 in은 시간의 경과를 나타내어 ‘~후에, ~있으면’의 뜻을 나타낸다.  send some pictures of our house to me 4형식 문장: 동사+간접목적어+직접목적어 동격관계 = some pictures of our house
