  2. The Abakus mobil air - particle counter • Different sensors for particle sizes from 0.1µm – 10µm • Controlled flow of 28.3 l /min • Option : LAS 3.1 – software for W2000/XP Hit the space key for the next folder

The Abakus in stand-alone-mode • The Abakus particle counter can operate without a PC. • Particle sizes, measuring times and other parameters can be user defined • The internal storage can hold ca. 2000 measurements in total. Optionally the data can be written onto a CF-card Hit the space key for the next folder

  4. Start screen of the LAS 3.1 program • Often used menu items reachable via speed-buttons • Performing measurements • Import of the internal storage • Displaying measurements • Setup functions Hit the space key to for the next folder

  5. Performing measurements • Select an Abakus measurement setup • Continuious or cyclic measurements • Time controlled measurements • Start the measurement • Online-graphics of the measurement values Hit the space key for the next folder

  6. Read out the internal storage • Select a storage • Enter a file name • Import the data • Option: Read out data from a CF-card Hit the space key for the next folder

  7. Displaying and Reduction I • Displaying the single measurements of a series • Graphics or table • Cumulative or distributive • Bar, line, 2-D, 3-D Hit the space-key for the next folder

  9. Parametrizing the Abakus • The measurements setups can be edited on a PC and can easily be uploaded to the particle counter Hit the space key for the next folder
