China-Finland S&T programme:SMHB–eHP: eHospital Guidelines • Guidelines for EPR/EHR and interoperability in digital hospital (part of China-Finland e-Health Partnership) • Development of internationally compatible guidelines for the general architecture, structured electronic patient/health record (EPR/EHR), integration standards as well as methods of implementation, evaluation and human resources development for digital hospital (“e-hospital”) in China • Chinese organization: Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau / Health Information Center, Fan Qiyong • Approved in China-Finland S&T programme • Chinese funding from Shanghai S&T and Pudong Distr Korpela

Original objectives of Cn-Fi eHP project • Implement the objectives of the plan approved to the China-Finland Science and Technology Agreement • + Information sharing / regional health info network • Participate in MoH national work groups to ensure national compatibility and to contribute nationally • Participate in international standards development to ensure international compatibility and to contribute internationally • Draw experience from similar research and development conducted in parallel in Finland, contribute back to Finland by application experience Korpela
