  3. 3,200 Claims attributed to alcohol misuse* *Number of claims per week that can be attributed to alcohol misuse. This number includes injuries caused by different mechanisms e.g. transport accidents, falls, interpersonal violence, fire-related et al.

  6. Theseinjuries can have a significant impact on people

  7. Not just the injured person

  8. But their whanau and friends, employer and workmates
