  2. Front of card • Write the word in marker in large print! • This is worth 1 point BIOLOGY

  3. Back of card • Write the meaning of the word! • This is worth 1 point. The study of life. 7 characteristics include:

  4. So far this can be done with very little effort! You can use the definition provided in the book or one we discuss in class. • This is your introduction to the word.

  5. Front of card Draw a picture to show what the word means. It must be in 2 or more colors. This should take a bit more thought! BIOLOGY The study of… life

  6. Cards will be due for the first time after these three things are complete. • 1. Word 1 pt • 2. Definition 1 pt • 3. Picture in color 1 pt ( no color – 1/2 pt) • Total = 3 points

  7. Add Notes to the Card! • As we learn more about the words you will need to add notes to the cards on the back. • These notes or lists of things that relate to the word should show connections with the word and what you learned about it. This will come from notes in class and reading. • These will be worth 2 points each card and will be due the day of a review or the test.
