  4. Rev.3:14 Introduction of Speaker “And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;” John 1:1 Col. 1:15-16

  5. Rev.3:15-16 Condemnation “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”

  6. Condemnation Neither cold nor hot Cold = sinner Hot = dedicated Christian God wished they were cold or hot Cold- Knew they were lost Lukewarm - self-satisfied

  7. Condemnation Lukewarm Tepid - warm Indifferent - half hearted Too cold to be Hot Too Hot to be Cold

  13. Rev.3:18-19 Counsel or Advice “I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.” v.18
