BurrellesLuce Production Tracker 3.8
Scheduled Reporting • Extend current Reports functionality to run reports on schedule • Provides CSV files similar to current output to file functions • Uses email distribution lists maintained in Exchange
Creating Reports • Location, Department, Employee Status, Reader Level and Reader type are unchanged • Works same as on screen reports
Creating Reports • Frequency is how often this report runs • All reports except daily run off hours Sunday morning • Daily reports run after midnight and are current through yesterday, as usual
Creating Reports • Period is the date range for this report • Period can be day, week, month, quarter or year • EOM, EOQ and EOY reports run first Sunday after close of the period
Creating Reports • Screen reports provide a menu to further filter by bucket (Group) • Batch report can’t do that, so you must choose one bucket per report • Multiple buckets means multiple reports
Creating Reports • Reports are emailed and not stored • Multiple recipients must be built to a dist list on Exchange • All addresses must end in @burrellesLuce.com for security reasons
Creating Reports • Reports must have a unique name up to 20 characters • Report parameters must not match an existing report
Not every combination is allowed so system performance is not compromised Frequency/Period Choices
The Output • The report format is really basic • You need to apply formatting with Excel
