Yellowstone National Park - Wyoming, Montana, Idaho … the name was derived from the Yellowstone River going through the park …is the oldest national park in the world (1917) … is well known for its geothermal features … is home to many animal species, even endangered ones. On the other side, there are many recreational areas for people.
Mount Rushmore in South Dakota… … is a granite sculpture with figures of the heads of former American Presidents, namely, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. All the figures measure nearly 60 feet. The carving of Mount Rushmore was started in the year 1927 and was completed in the year 1941 with the help of nearly 400 workers.
