Цели урока Образовательная: • Тренировать в применении ранее изученного материала в новых ситуациях общения; • Тренировать в восприятии речи на слух с опорой на наглядность и выполнении определенных заданий во время аудирования; • Практиковать навыки устной речи.
Развивающая Развивать коммуникативную культуру и социально – культурную образованность учеников; Развивать навыки говорения в процессе творческого общения учеников друг с другом.
Воспитательная: • Воспитывать культурную непредвзятость, толерантность и социокультурную наблюдательность; • Воспитывать речевой и социокультурный такт, вежливость.

1930s • Swing The music was fast and frantically paced and led to dances being banned from dance halls, as the young women being flung into the air by their partners showed their stoking tops and underwear. Jazz continued to be popular.
boogie - woogie • The second World War brought fast, frantic dance music – boogie – woogie or jitterbug. • Dance were held in church halls, village halls, clubs, Air Force basses – everywhere!
But slower, romantic songs were also popular as loved ones went away to fight, such as: • Lynn’s “ We’ll Meet Again” • The song about coming home again, “The White Cliffs Dover” • After the war “Skittle” bands became popular. • These bands used household items: washboards and tea chests, as part of their set instruments!
The Beatles • The Beatles began their career. • They leapt to fame in 1963 with “Please, Please Me”.
The Beatles moved through the later 1960s as favorites of the “Flower Power” generation – many young people enjoyed “Hippie” music.
Other teenagers preferred the music of the “Mods” • SKA MUSIC • “The WHO”
The main figues of this were David Bowie, Elton John and Gary Gliffer
Britain was the forefront of PUNK MUSIC “The Clash”
HEAVY METAL BANDS Motorhead, Iron Maiden
It’s interesting that no single style was set. We can set a lot of new branches: • Disco • New wave • Rap • Hip - hop
Let’s take ABBA(PRESENTS DISCO) • A Swedish music group • Internationally famous • And popular
Most youths listen to • Punk • Garage • House • Rock • Pop • R & B
