Future Successes • Mental Health Promotion Kit- 11 lesson plans and interactive activities for grades 4-6 to meet specific objectives of the Health and Lifeskills Curriculum - Developed in partnership (Capital Health, two school divisions, CMHA, Hope Foundation)
Expecting Respect • Peer education program that gives youth skills (leadership) and information • Focus on: healthy relationships, bullying, addictions, tobacco reduction • Partnership project (AADAC, City of Edmonton Community Services, Capital Health, other agencies/foundations/grants)
Tip of the Iceberg • The examples of excellent programs and partnerships for improving the health of our students are too plentiful to list as they occur:- within individual classrooms- within champion schools- within supportive school districts- within committed community programs - within focused divisions of health
