  3. Benefits of Joining REACH • Joining a group of teens who believe that the can change the community and the way they see people with disabilities • Part of a movement promoting equality for ALL • Develop event planning, leadership skills • Possibility of becoming YouTube famous!!! :D

  4. What member am I? • Buddies: 2 club members without disability paired with a buddy with a disability for the year to create a strong friendship in and out of school. • Helpers: Plan, coordinate, and attend all events and build relationships with buddies through these events

  5. How much does REACH do? • We’re ALWAYS busy doing something! • 1-2 organized events per month • Hangout weekly during advisor time Video

  6. How to Join REACH Club • Fill out the application • Sign up for a 10 minute interview. • Sheet is on front office window • Write in pencil in case you need to change your time. • Friday, 8/24 from 2:45-5pm • Saturday, 8/25 from 9am-12pm

  7. How to Join REACH Club (cont’d) • Turn in application at the time you go to scheduled interview • Make sure you are in the school library at least 5 minutes before your interview. • Contact info (in case you have to cancel at the last minute) • Trevor: (225)788-6688
