  3. Top Ten List -- 2006 • ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES CONSOLIDATION • SUCCESSION PLANNING • PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT • PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS • CONTRACT MANAGEMENT 3 AUDITOR OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTS

The FUTURE -- 2006 • The State will have new accounting system within three years • There will be increasing e-commerce and data exchange between local and state government • Data security concerns will continue to grow • Financial statements will need to be completed and issued with 90 days and the single audit within 5 months • Information technology infrastructure will become a commodity 4 AUDITOR OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTS
