AIME: Our Purpose • To increase Year 10 completion rates of AIME students to greater than 90% in all participating schools • To increase Year 12 completion rates of AIME students to greater than 75% in all participating schools • To increase university admission rates of AIME students to 30% of those who complete Year 12 at participating schools
AIME: The Path We Walk Together 20051 university, 25 Mentees, 25 Mentors… AIME is born. 20095 universities, 325 Mentees, 500 Mentors ..In 2010First year AIME expands outside of NSW to partner with Queensland University of Technology (QUT)
AIME: Brisbane City Program 2010 • 5 High Schools • Over150 Mentees in Years 8 – 12 • 29 Mentee/Mentor partnerships Year 9 Interactive Program • 27 Mentee/Mentor partnerships Year 10 Leadership Program • 339 volunteer QUT students registered their interest.. 158 selected as QLD AIME Mentors
