  2. Overview: This class will provide students with an overview of the skills and knowledge required to become a lifeguard. Through a hands-on approach students will practice lifesaving techniques and swimming skills. This course will give students a great insight into the knowledge and skills that are required by lifeguards. Objective: To have the students learn the basics in lifesaving techniquesTo have students enjoy the course and develop teamwork To have the students gain a deeper understanding of a lifeguards roleLearning Expectations: Students will demonstrate knowledge and skills of lifesaving techniques by being prepared and working as a team.
