REQUISITOS Ser Venezolano Ser Mayor de 21 años Para los Venezolanos por naturalización residentes en municipios fronterizos, haber vivido minimo 10 años previos a las elecciones. Haber vivido 3 años previos a las elecciones ELECCIONES DEL CONCEJO MUNICIPAL Periodo Sistema de Representación Proporcional Personalizada 60% Mayoritario-Nominal 40% Listas Cerradas y Bloqueadas Años duración del periodo La cantidad de concejales es proporcional a la población del municipio Se permite la relección CONDICIONES DE ELEGIBILIDAD No podrán ser candidatos quienes estén sujetos a inabilitación política Art. 64 (CRBV) No podrán optar por otros cargos quienes hayan sido condenados por delitos durante el ejercicio de sus funciones Art. 65 (CRBV) Referencia; Ley Orgánica del Poder Público Municipal CRBV 1999 BETZAIDA M.
