  2. Introduction • The Exam is only for PG admission. Certainly, the exam is conducted in an offline format. The exam is conducting by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority). Karnataka PGCET is an offline exam consist of 100 MCQs answered within 150 minutes. Above all, 178 institutes in Karnataka take part in Karnataka PGCET for PG admission. KARNATAKA PGCET Exam Eligibility Criteria • Nationality: Most of the candidates must be Indian citizens. • Candidates from their home state must have a Karnataka domicile for reservation. • Candidates from other states are welcome to apply for the Karnataka PGCET. But, they will not be eligible for any reservations. • Educationally eligible • For Full-time M.E /M. Tech/ M. Arch Course. • Candidates for Engineering and Technology course must have passed from Karnataka. In addition, The candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks in all subjects of years/ semester. Similarly, The candidate must qualify B. Tech/ M. Sc or degree from a recognized university. GATE candidates who want to apply through national-level scores need a valid GATE scorecard. 45% is a must for ST/ SC/ OBC and category. – Reservation is only applicable for Karnataka state candidates • For MCA Course • Candidate must have a UG degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer. Candidates must have 50% marks for the general category. 45% marks for any reserved category. Degree in subjects like Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Application, Business, Mathematics and Business Statistics are required. Candidates from ST/ SC/ OBC category need 45%.

  4. KARNATAKA PGCET Exam Eligibility Criteria • Full-Time MBA course • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years duration. Candidates need to get a minimum of 50% marks in all the subjects, including languages. 45% of marks is required for the reservation category. Reservation is only for the Karnataka candidates. • For Part-Time MBA course • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years duration. in addition, Candidates need to get a minimum of 50% marks together in all the subjects including languages. 45% of marks is required in the qualifying examination for SC, ST. Candidates must have worked for not less than three years as of 31st July 2021. This work must be completed in an organization within a 40 km radius of the institution.

  5. KARNATAKA PGCET Exam Syllabus KARNATAKA PGCET Exam Pattern • For ME/ M. Tech/ M. Arch: 60 questions will be from the technical section. The next section is based on Arithmetic and Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and English. • For MCA: the syllabus consists of questions from General English, General Awareness, Computer Awareness, Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning and Mathematics. • For MBA: Candidates can expect questions from the English Grammar, Vocabulary and literature section. The questions will be from Reasoning and General Intelligence, General Knowledge and Quantitative analysis.
