3. introduce ABOUT ME I was born and raised in Belgium, at the moment I'm 23 years old. In November 2022, I graduated as a secondary teacher of engineering and mechanics. After this I joined my project in Poland through the European solidarity corps online platform. This project lasted 6 months and through this presentation you will see exactly what I did here.

4. kindergarten The kindergarten was in Dzieckowice where I also lived. During the week I was expected there once or sometimes twice a week. The work I did there often consisted of different games with the children, trying to communicate with each other in English/Polish, occasionally I got to do a workshop with the children. On the right you can see 2 images where I participated in an eco-fashion show.

5. Primary school At the primary school in Dziekowice, I often worked once a week. Here I had to give several workshop sessions with a different topic each time. The topics were very varied, for example I gave a workshop on the different body parts, where the students practiced these body parts with different games. In the images, you can admire a cooking class, a tinkering and valentine's workshop.

6. Hola Mola For Hola Mola I was given the task of preparing and teaching English private lessons on Thursdays. On Tuesdays and Fridays I gave different English workshops in kindergartens. The topics were always very varied, for example: physics experiments, different continents, buying ice cream at the store, etc. During these Thursday classes, I had 4 groups with different levels of English and had to use many different teaching methods.

7. Other Task 1 As a volunteer, the organization gave me the opportunity to participate as a participant and extra help for the trainers in the youth exchange: the good, the bad and the ugly of being an entrepreneur. During these 9 days, I was also given the task of leading different workshops such as the flashmob and also got a moment where I could share my experiences about volunteering with all the participants. From this opportunity I got unforgettable experiences.

8. Other Task 2 In this project I had the opportunity to improve my digital skills. I was asked to make an introduction video and a reflection video of myself. Also, smaller videos were created for the online platforms TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. Twice a month the volunteers also had to write something down on blog platform Wordpress. So that they could share their experiences with others and thus promote the program.

9. Personal experiences 1 During these 6 months, volunteers are also given the opportunity to participate in a training on-arrival and a mid-term training. In these trainings you will get to know other volunteers who are also in Poland at that time and are in the same situation as you. Here you can share your experiences with others, get to know other cultures, make friends, explore the city a bit, etc.

10. Personal experiences 2 Besides all these experiences I got through volunteering there are also many that you make yourself of course. I had seized every possible opportunity to discover a major city and thus traveled throughout Poland. The cities I visited are, Gdansk, Gdynia, Sopot, Krakow, Katowice, Warsaw, Torun, Wroclaw, Bielsko-Biala, Energylandia etc. These are also important memories and highlights throughout your project.
